About the Trust

We are an established landscape and buildings conservation charity caring for places and connecting to people of all ages and backgrounds across the Borough of Richmond and the wider London area.

Founded in 1984 we are at the heart of a famous area well-endowed with green spaces and historic buildings and benefiting from the River Thames. With 25 years experience of landscape and buildings conservation and public education, we are uniquely placed at the centre of a network of partners to ensure that this place is nurtured and conserved for future generations to enjoy.

Our purpose

To preserve and conserve open green spaces, wildlife and the best of the built environment and raise awareness of the issues that affect their survival. To enhance all people’s lives through inclusion, volunteering, education and learning about the local environment and inspiring them to take action.

A place where natural beauty and diversity are looked after for the people of tomorrow by the people of today for the benefit and enjoyment of everyone.
