Ian Shillaker studied graphics at Croydon College of Art and has worked as a designer for 35 years. He finds painting is a more spontaneous and natural alternative to designing on a computer screen. He has attended classes in painting figures and portraits in oils also landscapes in watercolour and acrylic.
