This year we will be opening four historic buildings for open house weekend. This includes the new addition of St Leonards Court Air Raid Shelter in Mortlake which will be open for its first ever public viewing. Prior to this the shelter had be used by maintenance staff of the nearby flats to store vast amounts of building materials. The shelter was cleared out in May this year to enable essential conservation work to begin (which has not yet started) and to also make it safe for visitors during open house weekend.
