Volunteer with the Environment Trust

While we are always happy to receive donations of money, this is far from the only way to get involved if you are interested in the work that the Environment Trust does.

OFFICE SUPPORT: We are always on the look out for more help in the office, from simply getting our filing sorted out to promoting the Trust, researching local history, and campaigning for the preservation of important buildings. Give us a call or send us an e-mail if you have time, skills or enthusiasm to offer!

PRACTICAL VOLUNTEERING: If you like to spend time out of doors and would like to develop your gardening and conservation skills, we currently run regular practical work mornings at various sites around the borough. Everyone is welcome but children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Kilmorey Mausoleum, St Margarets Road (behind the brick wall almost opposite the Ailsa Tavern): Mondays from 12 noon to 2 pm. Please call 07955 172 940 to check details.
  • Vineyard Passage Burial Ground, Richmond (behind Vestry Hall): first Saturday of the month from 10.30 am. Contact Jack Felt on 8332 2947 or Martin Edgar on 8948 1577.
  • Various outdoor jobs around the borough, Call the office on 020 8891 5455 for more information or scroll down for a list of planned activities over the coming months.

Gloves and tools are provided. For further information and to be added to our circulation list, please call the office on 020 8891 5455.
