'Rewilding' with George Monbiot
Join us for a talk and Q&A with George Monbiot chaired by Zac Goldsmith MP
‘Rewilding’ is a phrase increasing in prominence especially since the recent floods. A rewilding approach argues for a mass restoration of the natural world. Through restoring a natural balance in our ecosystem our natural and built environments can arguably co-exist in greater harmony.
We have great pleasure in hosting George Monbiot to discuss this topic and Zac Goldsmith MP will act as our chair for the evening.
George Monbiot
George Monbiot studied zoology at Oxford, but his real education began when he travelled to Brazil in his twenties and joined the resistance movement defending the land of peasant farmers. Since then he has spent his career as a journalist and environmentalist, working with others to defend the natural world he loves. His celebrated Guardian columns are syndicated all over the world.
Monbiot is the author of the bestselling books Captive State, The Age of Consent, and most recently Feral.
Zac Goldsmith MP

He was elected in May 2010. In 2005 Zac oversaw a wide-ranging review of environmental policy for the Conservative Party. He continues to raise significant funds for groups around the world addressing environmental and conservation issues.
