Donations

We rely entirely on fundraising and membership in order to continue and grow, so please help our environment in Richmond upon Thames by making a donation to the Environment Trust. We also welcome gifts in kind, such as voluntary time (see our Volunteering page) and support in our campaigns.

Everyclick

You can help raise funds for the Trust without paying a penny yourself, simply by using Everyclick when you want to search the web – Everyclick works just like Google but gives 50 percent of its income to charity. Follow this link to start searching and raising money for the Trust or visit www.everyclick.com to find out more.

Make a donation

You can make a secure online donation by credit or debit card through Charity Choice and the Cooperative Bank by clicking on the ‘Make a donation’ button. Alternatively, you can send a cheque, made payable to the Environment Trust for RuT, to our office in Heath Road. If you are a UK taxpayer, we can claim Gift Aid on top of your donation, from the tax that you have paid, at no extra cost to you. If you are using the online donation facility, please tick the GiftAid box. If you are sending us a cheque, please complete a Gift Aid form (72kb Word doc).

Leave a legacy

And, while we hope that you will live a long and happy life, perhaps we could also suggest that you consider leaving us a bequest in your will – what better way could there be to ensure that the wonderful buildings and open spaces of this borough remain for future generations to enjoy as much as we have? We were recently delighted to be informed that we had been left £1000 by a supporter, which will greatly help us in our projects.

How do we spend the money that we receive?

  • Grove Gardens Chapel building maintenance and repairs
  • Kilmorey Mausoleum accessibility improvements, tools and expenses for maintenance of the wildlife garden
  • Vineyard Passage Burial Ground accessibility improvements, tools and expenses maintenance of the garden
  • St Helena boathouse repairs and expenses
  • Tools, vests and refreshments for volunteers and training for volunteer leaders (e.g. first aid)
  • Professional fees, e.g. for research, feasibility studies and restoration consultation
  • Insurance (buildings, public liability)
