Richmond Park Walk for Wildlife
This year we have partnered with Walking 4 Wildlife and TV presenter Anneka Svenska to organise a 20 mile sponsored Walk 4 Wildlife around London's famous Richmond Park and across Wimbledon Common. This walk takes you far away from the mad hustle and bustle of Britain's capital and in to a more familiar natural landscape. There'll be a picnic lunch halfway, so bring your friends and family to enjoy the fresh air and accompany you on your sponsored challenge.
For full details about the walk, or to reserve your place, please complete the online enquiry form
Once you have registered your place send us an email with your details and we'll help you get the ball rolling on fundraising. We have set up a fundraising page https://mydonate.bt.com/events/richmondparkwalk4wildlife which you can join after you've registered for the walk. The minimum target to raise is £150 (per person) and you can be proud of that you have helped the Trust to continue and develop our nature conservation projects in your local area.
We are delighted to have the support of TV Presenter, Conservationist, Broadcaster and Film Maker Anneka Svenska, who presented our dinosaur lecture last year. Anneka will be leading the walk for the Environment Trust.
“I think that Walk for Wildlife is a double whammy for animals! Not only do you get out into the fresh air and see them with your own eyes, but you can also actively support your favourite conservation projects across the world at the same time. I love the idea that it’s a collective, as I’m a great believer that all charities and conservation bodies should be teaming up across the globe at this critical time..”
Bring your friends, family and a picnic lunch, and get sponsored to take part in the Richmond Park Walk 4 Wildlife.
