What We Do
The Environment Trust is unique in looking after both the natural and built environment, inspiring love of local places.
All our work is designed to:
- Engage and involve the community
- Increase volunteering
- Improve skills
- Foster inclusion
- Create the stewards of the future
We are engaged in a broad range of activities. These include:
- Nature conservation
- Working to support schools with environmental studies
- Offering volunteering to Duke of Edinburgh award students
- The care and maintenance of buildings and sites of historical merit or community interest
- Activities for people with special needs
- Horticulture, including the Kitchen Garden in Marble Hill Park
