What We Do

The Environment Trust is unique in looking after both the natural and built environment, inspiring love of local places.

All our work is designed to:
  • Engage and involve the community
  • Increase volunteering
  • Improve skills
  • Foster inclusion
  • Create the stewards of the future

We are engaged in a broad range of activities. These include:

  • Nature conservation
  • Working to support schools with environmental studies
  • Offering volunteering to Duke of Edinburgh award students
  • The care and maintenance of buildings and sites of historical merit or community interest
  • Activities for people with special needs
  • Horticulture, including the Kitchen Garden in Marble Hill Park
