Planning & Listing Consultancy

We provide a free service to the general public about action you can take to protect a building at risk, to respond to planning applications, and to engage in consultation on planning issues.

We comment on proposals for Listed Buildings, Buildings of Townscape Merit, and on developments affecting the River Thames.

We work closely with the council’s Urban Design team, the conservation officers, and English Heritage, as well as with other local organisations such as the Richmond Society and West London River Group.

Some of our Trustees and staff are qualified planners and architects, and we are advised by consultants specialising in this field.

If you want help or advice with a planning or listing matter you should contact the office in the first instance.
