We are delighted to announce that this year's Art Auction raised almost £13,000.

Bidders vied for 46 lots, including pieces by well known artists Mary Fedden, Anthea Craigmyle and Chris Orr as well as Liz Knutt, Anne Swankie and Jill Storey.

“It’s been another huge success” said delighted Chairman, John Anderson. “We couldn’t have done it without the continued generosity of local artists as well as those more established artists who so generously donated their work for the benefit of the Trust. The proceeds will help support our wide-ranging work in environmental education and volunteering, as well as practical conservation projects.”

The art auction team are: John Iddon, auctioneer and fine art expert; Ros Newby, organiser; Jenny Pearce, organiser; Linden Loader, publicity; Yvonne Hewett, website; Jenny Willis, office support; with help from Nicky Browne.

Helping on the night were: Gill and Derrick Mercer, Rob Gray, Harriet Newby, Diedre Clenet, Ruth Darbay, Ann Callaway and Lynsey Stafford.
