Jam Yesterday Jam Tomorrow is a 3-year Heritage Lottery Fund project that is uncovering the rich and varied Market Garden and Nurserylands history of Twickenham, Hampton and Hounslow in the 19th and 20th centuries. The project has brought back to life the hidden market gardens history of Middlesex, making it visible and accessible to residents of all ages, abilities and interests. We have recorded the memories of those that were directly involved in market gardening in the area and have created an exhibition of market garden and nuserylands history. We also have a varied programme of educational activities and events open to all. We are running horticultural courses for young people who are seeking ways into employment. We have built a Model Market Garden in Marble Hill Park.
